Proud to Announce Great Waters NSCRO 7s Women's All-Star Team

Great Waters Women’s Rugby is proud to announce their NSCRO 7s Women’s All-Star team roster. The National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO) has invited Conferences to bring their best players to participate in an All-Star tournament in St. Petersburg Florida January 19th and 20th 2019. The tournament will feature teams from all over the United States, and NSCRO All Star Coaches will use the tournament to pick a NSCRO All Star team – which will compete in the Las Vegas Invitational and CRC sevens in Philadelphia, PA.

2019 will be the first year that the Great Waters Conference is sending a team. Great Waters is a hybrid conference with five NSCRO teams competing alongside USA Rugby Division Two teams from Wisconsin, UP Michigan and Illinois. The Conference team is led by a coaching staff who have worked together coaching the Wisconsin U-24 Select Side, the coaching staff also boasts two former Great Waters 7s Captains. Players were selected based off selection camp, scouting 7s tournaments last spring, and scouting at Great Waters Championships this fall. This is an amazing opportunity for athletes to experience High Performance rugby, many of them for the first time.
